Hy-Vee and Hinge teamed up on a second round of four :90 spots for the H House brand campaign, a fun blend of live-action talent on green screen with all-CG home interiors and exteriors!
Hinge’s VFX team provided on-set supervision for the shoot as well as a live preview of the talent composited over the CG environments using the Unreal Engine. In post, our team designed color-themed and bespoke CG rooms, back yards and neighborhoods, created engaging VFX, and then seamlessly keyed, tracked and integrated the live action into each shot.
The Hy-Vee Halloween campaign for the H House brand was an exciting project that allowed us to showcase our skills and expertise in VFX and digital composition. Our team’s focus on creating spooky and unique CG environments helped us to effectively communicate the Halloween theme and brand message through our work.
Each shot was carefully crafted to ensure that the live-action talent seamlessly integrated with the CG environments, which required precise tracking and keying. Our team used the Unreal Engine to provide real-time previews of talent composited over CG environments, allowing us to make immediate adjustments and ensure that the final product was seamless.
In addition, we integrated brands like Tide and Reese’s chocolate into the campaign using product placement and clever VFX. This added an extra layer of engagement to the campaign and showcased these brands effectively.
Overall, the H House brand Halloween campaign was a successful collaboration that allowed us to push the boundaries of what’s possible with VFX and digital composition. We’re looking forward to future opportunities to enhance brands with our expertise.
