The project was shot with a green screen set and composited using Adobe After Effects, allowing for seamless integration of 3D animated characters and environments with live-action footage. One of the key features of the project was the attention to detail in the modeling and rigging of the fish and other sea creatures, which allowed for realistic and fluid movement. The lighting and effects were also carefully crafted to immerse the audience in the underwater world and bring the music to life.

“Fish / In the Middle of Growing Up” was a challenging project that allowed me to push the limits of my creativity and technical expertise. As the director, scriptwriter, storyboard artist, layout designer, set designer, modeler, rigger, animator, lighting artist, effects artist, renderer, editor, and VFX artist, I had to wear many hats and make many decisions throughout the production process. From developing the concept to post-production, every step required careful planning and execution.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was creating a seamless blend between the live-action footage and the 3D animated characters and environments. I spent countless hours refining the lighting, color grading, and compositing to ensure that everything looked cohesive and natural. Another challenge was creating realistic and believable movement for the fish and other sea creatures, which required careful attention to detail in the modeling and rigging process.

Despite the challenges, the end result was a visually stunning and immersive music video that I am proud to have created. The nomination for the 2019 A Cappella Video Award in LA, USA was the icing on the cake and a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in the project.
