The Inspiration

The “Post-Apocalyptic MRT Station” is a 3D environment based on the real MRT station in Taipei (景安站). I was captivated by the idea of transforming a familiar, everyday setting into a haunting, desolate landscape. As an artist, I wanted to challenge myself and push the boundaries of my creative abilities by blending reality with the apocalyptic theme.

The Process

To bring this vision to life, I utilized various tools such as Maya, Unreal Engine, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Photoshop. The fusion of these powerful software solutions enabled me to develop intricate 3D models, stunning VFX, and atmospheric sound design, all of which contribute to the immersive post-apocalyptic ambiance.

The Result

The final product is a breathtaking post-apocalyptic MRT station scene that showcases my expertise in 3D modeling, VFX, sound design, atmosphere, and lightning. I am responsible for all aspects of this project, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience to see my artistic vision come to life.
